Our knives are of the finest quality.
Hand forged from high carbon steel.
We will not use stainless or any other
exotic steels.
All our knives and axes are researched reproductions of early styles and designs
and are individually hand forged using a coal forge, tempered, and finished in
the traditional manner in a one-man shop. Each knife comes with its own
hand stitched leather sheath. All the leatherwork, silverwork and
engraving is done in-house.

Forge creates a variety of styles of knives. The "dog bone"
bowie style was researched and reproduced for the discriminating 1870's
re-enactor .

Sheffield Bowie - knives
such as these were imported into this country in large numbers from England
during the mid to late 1800's. They were used extensively in settling of
the West. Stag, bone or wood handle; nickle silver, brass or iron quillion

These knives are replicas of the Spanish
Belduques. Notice
